Come and celebrate International Day of Disabled People with Greater
Manchester Coalition of Disabled People. All disabled people, allies and
friends are welcome to join us for this free, fully accessible, BSL
interpreted event! Join us for the whole day or just pop in to meet friends
old & new!
When? Saturday 6th December 2003

BEVC, Aked Close, Ardwick,

3 'til 4 p.m. Speakers & exhibition about what it's like to be a disabled
person in other cultures and countries & how they celebrate International
Day! Find a penpal from around the world!
4.30 'til 5.30 p.m. "Raise your Banners" Join us in creating a
pride banner, design your own t-shirt & henna hand painting!
5.30 - 8pm Free food & entertainment with an international theme!
If you can, please bring some food / snacks to share.
GMCDP may be able to reimburse some reasonable PA, assistance, child care &
transport costs. If you would like to discuss this possibility or any other
