Subject: New Zealand Human Rights Commission Inquiry into accessible
public transport
Greetings
I wonder if you could post the attached message on your disabilty
research list please.
The New Zealand Human Rights commission is conducting an Inquiry into
Accessible Public Land Transport for people with disabilities. A copy
of the information booklet is available.
As part of the Inquiry we are doing a review of overseas protections and
experiences. If anyone one has;
Information about the legal protections in England, Britain, Europe
Any cases that have been taken through the courts, to a Commission etc
Any accessiblity standards or guidelines that apply to any aspect of
public transport
Any useful websites or contacts
I would very interested in receiving any information anyone has.
Thank you in appreciation
