The Disability Rights Commission wishes to commission a consultation with disabled people in England, Scotland and Wales about their experiences of discrimination. The main purpose of the consultation is to inform an annual survey of disabled people. It will seek the views of a wide range of organisations of disabled people and individuals and is likely to use a combination of interviews, focus groups and written communication. The consultation should be carried out between January and March 2004. We envisage that the consultation will be led by disabled people.
If you might wish to express an interest in carrying out this consultation, please contact Andrew Nocon for further details: by e-mail at [log in to unmask], phone on 0161 261 1786, or fax on 0161 261 1800. The deadline for formal expressions of interest is 1 December 2003.
