More than 100 delegates are already booked for this event, where they will

We have more than 30 speakers, including Professor Sir Ian Kennedy (Shadow

Association), Harry Cayton (Director for Patients and the Public, Department
of Health), Laura McMurtrie (Chief Executive, CPPIH) and Peter Cardy, (Chief
Executive, Macmillan Cancer Relief)

Delegates will learn about the latest in the field of health communications,
including:

* Choice: what information patients and the public want
* Involving patients and the public in developing and delivering
services
* Linking health and social care services
* Improving the quality of information for patients and the public,
including case studies
* Making information available to the public - through local services,
Digital TV and the Internet
* Supporting face-to-face communication with patients
* Communication tools and training: learning from others: teachers,
broadcasters
*       Monitoring health information services

To ensure public participation in this event, each paying delegate is
encouraged to invite a health service user, without additional charge.
