Hi,
After a long gap, the GridPP Map is working for the EDG 2.0 application
testbed. There currently isn't a link to it from the main GridPP page, but
it's still there at http://www.gridpp.ac.uk/map/
Only the defacto main EDG RB at NIKHEF (boszwijn.nikhef.nl) is currently
being used, and so we only get red (no response) or orange (Globus OK)
dots, or Green Stars. Looking at boszwijn.nikhef.nl's edg-job-list-match
results implies we should only have RAL, UCL, RALPP and IC at this stage.
(If you think you should appear, or want to test yourself or other sites,
then submitting a helloworld.jdl job like this:
Requirements = Member("RAL-PRO",other.GlueHostApplicationSoftwareRunTimeEnviro\nment);
Executable = "/bin/echo";
Arguments = "Hello world";
StdOutput = "hello.out";
StdError = "hello.err";
OutputSandbox = {"hello.out","hello.err"};
on gppui04.gridpp.rl.ac.uk (or your EDG 2.0 UI) should get a job to run at
your site, with RAL-PRO replaced by what you've put in the list of
runtime environments to identify your site in site-cfg.h.
(ie as part of the #define CE_IP_RUNTIMEENV line.)
This is basically what the map system does to target jobs, so you need to
get that kind of script working first, before the map can work.)
Cheers,
Andrew
