Call for Papers
The Journal of Security Sector Management is a quarterly e-journal (ISSN
1740-2425) hosted by the Global Facilitation Network for Security Sector
Reform and invites submissions on the following themes:
- The role of International donors in Security Sector Reform (SSR)
- Role of civil society organisations (CSOs)in SSR
- Good Governance of the SSR
- Issues and Debates on SSR
- SSR's contribution to International Development
- Management issues in SSR
- Regional approaches to SSR
- The role of International donors in SSR
- Democratisation of the Security Sector
- The impact of Policing, and Judiciary on the wider security sector
- The role of SSR in conflict prevention
Length
We would prefer to receive submissions of between 1500 and 5000 words, not
including endnotes or other supporting material.
Editorial Policy
With the assistance of the editorial board, the editors will ensure the
relevancy and accuracy of articles.
Archive
The JSSM web site will maintain an archive of all articles published,
accessible via its web site.
Copyright
Authors retain the intellectual property rights to their work and the right
to reprint the article elsewhere. The Journal for Security Sector
Management retains the right to maintain an archive of articles published
in the Journal.
