Associate Outcomes Research Manager, UK
Build Robust Evidence Based Arguments to Support the Products
West London
circa £45,000 [EUR70,000] + outstanding package
Our client, the Research and Development Company of a blue chip
pharmaceutical group, is developing its Outcomes Research function to
meet the ever-increasing need for Health Economics data to support in
market products and regulatory submissions. A core European group has
now been established in this function, and an Associate Manager,
focussed primarily on the UK market, is now sought to continue the
development of the group.
You will take responsibility for the submission of economic data to
Institutes of Clinical Excellence, contribute to the design of clinical
trials, and ensure that valid HE data will be captured. Evaluation of
quality of life measures and advising on regulatory submissions will
also be key activities. By keeping abreast of developments in the field
and managing the Economic section of NICE/SMC submissions, your
contribution to the business will be significant and noticeable. You
will also liaise with colleagues in the major affiliates and the
European HQ in Brussels. Based in the UK offices, you will support the
UK business to help it gain competitive advantage.
Having already had a proven track record in Health Economics,
Epidemiology or a similar discipline, of at least 2 years, you may well
have qualified, initially, as a pharmacist, medic or life scientist and
you will have followed this with HE experience in drug development or in
a trading affiliate. You will probably have a qualification in HE.
Particular emphasis is placed on leadership to ensure that the business
can source its senior management of the future so you will need to be
able to substantiate your claim to leadership skills.
If you are ready for this major challenge, please contact/send your CV,
ref 3287, to Peter Fortune, EAMES·JONES·JUDGE·HAWKINGS, 29 High Street,
