OpenURL originated in the scholarly information community and
has so far been used mainly for linking to appropriate copies of
referenced journal articles and books. Provision of a Simple Dublin
Core Profile opens up new possibilities of using the OpenURL
Framework within diverse domains. Details of this new profile are

listserv.
