The CAQDAS Networking Project is in its 5th period of funding by the ESRC
and continues to provide support, platforms for debate, information and
training concerning computer assistance in the analysis of qualitative data.
A full list of workshops and project support sessions follows but the _free
seminar programme_ provided by the project underpins its support to the
research community. The next two Software Planning Seminars offered by the
CAQDAS Networking Project, providing free comparative overviews of selected
software programs for qualitative data analysis are being held at the
Queens University, Belfast and the University of Surrey, Guidlford. These
are designed to
provide a first stage in exposure to various software to allow users and
potential users the chance to ask about their own future use of software in
the context of project planning etc . The sessions encourage a critical
awareness of how software programs for QDA might support your approach.
Stages 2 and 3 in the introductory to advanced _hands on_ teaching of CAQDAS
software are scheduled separately throughout the year (see later in
message).
