medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

This is a rather extreme version, but you can read about it in the second
century (CE) Sanskrit text, the Bhavisya Purana, and in a number of later
texts, from the Hindu, Buddhist and Islamic traditions of Kashmir. See the
website:
http://www.tombofjesus.com
which is based on the work of the Kashmiri historian, Fida Hassnain who
co-wrote, with Dahan Levi, 'The Fifth Gospel' (Srinagar, Kashmir: Dastgir
Pubns, 1988).
It is from this respected Kashmiri archivist/historian that Holger Kersten
got much of the information for his 'Jesus lived in India' (Munich: Droemer,
1983/ English trans: Shaftesbury: Element Books, 1986).
