Of the 8 sites accepted for Teesside (Hartlepool, Stockton-on-Tees,
Middlesborough,and Redcar and Cleveland) only 2 were dug (to our knowledge:
our SMR officer and myself visited both). Only one though has generated
anything like a report so far...
We did however have a great response from our "test-pit park" in Marton
(Middlesborough) with something like 2000 visitors over the weekend after
it's Friday night TT appearance. In addition almost 100 new volunteers were
involved and the "park" generated a lot of positive press coverage for our
other community projects, so the event wasn't a complete washout for us...
