I am putting together a panel for ALA Annual (sometime during June 24–30, 2004) in Orlando for the Committee on Research and Statistics on Evidence-Based Librarianship. It will be called something like "Three Paths to Enlightenment: Using Evidence to Make Decisions in Libraries".
I'd like to have one person talk about quantiative EBL and someone else present a qualitative EBL project, but two different quant projects would work as well. I'm going to present bibliomining (data mining for libraries) as a different route.
There is no travel funding available from ALA for this. It would be a chance to help bring EBL to a larger audience.
If interested, send me an e-mail with a paragraph about your proposed topic.
Thanks,
Scott Nicholson
