I will take this opportunity to remind you of the lecture and slide
show this coming Friday 12 Sept. at 7 pm. The lecture will be given in
the Russian language, so it is an excellent chance for you to use your
Russian. For those who have no Russian the slides are in
international language so non-linguists will not be left out.
A reminder: this is a lecture and slide presentation in Russian
by the director of Russian Albion and Armenian poet, Vahagn
Karapetyan. His collection, compiled over 30 years, is of the
memorials of famous Soviet personalities.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The 2003-2004 RUSSIAN INFORMATION GUIDE, compiled by
the SCR, is now available from the SCR office - order yours now,
just send in a cheque for £5.40 including postage. The cheque
should be made out to "SCRSS".
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Come to the lecture and buy your copy there!
