I find it cumbersome to talk about stuff external to a given message
immediately as "metadata".
The abstract model uses metadata for explicit assertions about resources.
Suppose somebody is talking about a person and puts an otherwise not qualified
link which dereferences to a jpeg at a given time.
How can we interprete the jpeg as such in terms of the abstract model as metadata?
