Dear all,
Apologies for cross posting.
Some of you may be aware that Neil McLean the Director of IMS Australia
and chair of the IMS Digital Libraries Special Interest Group will be in
the UK in October as a visiting fellow of the Learning Technologies
Group at Oxford University. Neil has suggested that this would be a
good opportunity to meet with UK digital repository projects, users,
developers and vendors to discuss current and future developments and
what constitutes good practice for repository management. We have
provisionally set aside the 27th of October for a fairly informal
repositories meeting. I would propose to collocate this meeting with
the CETIS Learning Design Workshop which is taking place in Glasgow on
the 28th and 29th of October, however if this is not suitable I can look
for an alternative location. If you would be interested in attending a
meeting of this kind and have preference for a venue please let me know
by Wednesday the 24th of September. Please feel free to forward this
mail to any colleagues who may be interested.
Best Wishes
Lorna
