Renee,
There is no need (nor justification) for PRs prior to thrombolysis. In
fact, you could possibly make a case for assault.....
(you weren't being serious, were you?)
Besides, your comments about paramedics not doing 'clever stuff' like
thrombolysis is a little behind the paradigm shift.
With the right protocols, training, and audit I think they are perfectly
placed to give thrombolysis.
