Well, I've been working on a program the past few weeks. I
tinker with a certain 3-D game rendering engine. I've been writing some
code that will ping certain routers / backbones in intervals and report
back graphically in a 3D environment. I've had some partial success.
If I can, I'll make some screen grabs. Basically, how it works is each
router is depicted as a round ball, the more under load it is, the
larger the ball is show. The speed is represented by multi-colored
rings (like Saturn). Neat part is, you can interact with the objects
sort of like a game atmosphere. This has all been done locally on my
own equipment, I'd like to try this on a more grand scale. Any idea's?
Or anyone interested in working on a project like this?
Thanks for your time,
Mark Yarian
