4. INTERCULTURAL LEARNING: IALIC FORUM
16 December 2003, University of Lancaster
Intercultural Learning and Teaching Forum
This forum will take place as part of the IALIC Conference
(International Association for Languages and Intercultural Learning) at
the University of Lancaster. It is intended to provide a forum for open
debate relating to the practice of intercultural learning and teaching
and will be chaired by Professor Mike Byram (University of Durham). The
forum is open to anyone (you do not have to be registered for the whole
conference) but if you are not a delegate at the conference you will
need to register with the Subject Centre by sending an email to

5. INDEPENDENT LANGUAGE LEARNING: NEW DIRECTIONS RESEARCH CONFERENCE

The aim of the Awards is to celebrate global multicultural and
