Pete,
I know there will always be timetable clashes but the CLD working group
session clashes with the Library working group session. There seems to be a
big overlap in communities of interest in these two. (If it is just me then
so be it.) Is there an alternative time?

Subject: Meeting of WG at DC2003 in Seattle
There will be a meeting of the DC Collection Description Working Group
during the DC-2003 Conference in Seattle. It is scheduled for
15.30-17.30 on Monday 29 September 2003, and is open to anyone
registered for the conference. See
http://dc2003.ischool.washington.edu/program.html
Are any members of this group planning to attend please?
I don't think we are going to be in a position to submit this profile to
the Usage Board in September, as we had hoped, but this provides an
opportunity for us to discuss the current proposals in detail. We might
also use that time to share information on your own experiences of
collection-level description and specifically on your experience of
developing CLD metadata schemas and any important conclusions for this
group.
Andy and I been asked to submit an outline agenda for the WG meeting in
the next few days. I'll prepare something general based on the existing
programme of work and our discussions here, and post that here early
next week. But if there are any specific items you would like included
please post them to the list as soon as possible.
(And I understand that there are rooms available at other times later in
the week so we could possibly reconvene if we find we are making great
progress and have more to talk about!)
Pete
