Hello
I am an emergency physician from Bulgaria working at
the Emergency Medical Center in the city of
Kyustendil. I am one of the first Bulgarian physicians
having a specialty in Emergency Medicine.
According to what our instructors (most of them are
leading physicians in greatesst Sofia hospitals and
teach medical students and specializing doctors as
well): a patient in an emergency condition (of any
kind) is a patient who himself thinks that he is
having a problem that is an emergency. It doesn't
matter whether any doctor or other medical
professional thinks that the present state of this
patient does not represent an emergency at the moment.
