1.How many departments have ENPs working without the R34 or other external
ENP qualification, and what proportion of your total ENPs are doing the role
without R34?
2.I am going to an Industrial Tribunal soon to defend /support the nurse
manager and division managers' decision that it is right to disallow a nurse
coordinator /G grade to work only one day a week because of lack of
credibility, inability to keep up to date....
Have other A&E departments written policies that a nurse who wishes to carry
out nurse coordinator role (usually G but often F) should work at least 2
days/16hours a week?
I understand some ITU's and some midwifery units have such policies and I
feel this is an analogous situation.
all opinions appreciated.
