Senior Research Fellow
This post offers a challenging and exciting opportunity to be involved
in taking forward and developing a major programme of research on adult
social care within one of the leading centres for social policy research
in the UK.
You will lead the Community Care for Adults Team, one of the three
research teams within SPRU, and undertake research on social care for
older people and/or carers. You will also have responsibility, with the
Director, for developing and managing the Unit’s Department of Health
funded programme of work on adult social care.
You will have recognised expertise in applied social science research
and an impressive record of empirical research and publications in
peer-reviewed academic journals. You will also demonstrate the ability
to compete successfully for external research funds and be able to lead
a research team.
