Coalition Provisional Authority Iraq
Description: This is the official web site of the provisional government established in Iraq in the wake of the 2003 war and the fall of Saddam Hussein. It includes information on the purpose of the government, its structure and activities. This includes access to fact sheets on the work of individual Iraqi ministries, recent press releases relating to social, economic and political policy and details of the reconstruction of the region. The site also includes information about American aid programmes to Iraq and US government contracts for its reconstruction as well as reports on human rights issues.

Benchmarking e-Government in Europe and the US

Description: This site provides access to the full text of a book by Irma Graafland-Essers and Emile Ettedgui which was published by Rand in 2003 ISBN 083303457X. It presents the results of a public opinion survey of individuals from 15 EU nations and business managers from 7 EU nations which examined attitudes towards the usage of electronic government services, take up rates and difficulties encountered. Implications for the future development of e- government in the USA and Europe are considered.

Perspective (The)
Description: The Perspective is a monthly magazine/newspaper which is published by Liberian Democratic Future (LDF) an independent group of Liberians who are campaigning for democratic change in Liberia. It is possible to access the full text of all articles published from 1998 onwards from the site. They include coverage of the political, economic and social situation in Liberia; the conflict; political protests; human rights abuses; political repression and violence and critiques of the government of Charles Taylor and the efforts of the international community.
