Dear SRA Member And Friends
I am writing to invite you to the Social Research Association's 2003
Summer
Event. It will be held on Friday 11th July at the Local Government
Association, Local Government House,
Smith Square, London SW1P 3HZ.
The event starts at 2pm with a seminar, followed by a drinks reception
at
5:30pm. This years event is about 'Promoting Professional Standards in
Social Research' and I'm delighted to announce that Mercator who produce
snap survey software are sponsoring the event.
The Summer Event is a relaxed and social occasion that also provides an
opportunity to hear about and debate topical issues of relevance to
social
researchers. This year's Summer Event will focus on the European
Commission
funded RESPECT project, designed to draw up professional and ethical
guidelines for international socio-economic research. This event is a
crucial part of the development of the RESPECT project, allowing the
researchers involved to test out their ideas, and for SRA members to
make
any final contributions. Your involvement with this work is essential.
