The issue of diagnosis you have raised brings up some other interesting
questions. A patients search for a "label" or diagnosis can become an
enormous issue and a problem in itself. i.e. ? linked to yellow flag
issues in cases of NSLBP. Inappropriate labelling and diagnosis based
heavily on a biomedical model,(still very common)is almost certainly
unhelpful and something that we should be wary of being involved in. A
point which links nicely with Frank's point regarding the validity of
diagnostic imaging.
