One problem I can see is that this could transform several instances of
DC:title to several instances of LOM:general.title, which is supposed to be
a non-repeatable element.
Lorna and I are working on the next version of the IMS Metadata Best
Practice and Implementation Guide. Previous versions of this have had a
DC-LOM mapping as an appendix. I've expanded this to include DC Terms in
the draft for the next version. If anyone would like to this you can get a

I would be interested in comments, especially about level of detail it goes
into. For example is it OK to leave it saying the DC:title maps to
LOM:general.title? Would it be more helpful to point out the minor
differences or is that just nit-picking?
