Hi David,
Our e-Science SRIF kit (32 nodes) will be arriving in the next few weeks.
Once this is in place we would like to connect the EDG (release 2) front-end
components to it.
However, my understanding is that the move from 1.4 to 2.0 is non-trivial
so it will probably take a bit of time before we are seen on the map to be
a fully operation "green star"; say about 3-4 months from now.
I'm also involved with a "MC Production through EDG" project with
a few people at H1 and it would be very useful for us to keep a small
working 1.4 testbed in operation so that work in this area can proceed
unhindered. I would very much like 1.4 to be available for the remainder
of the year if that is at all possible?
Dave.
