The Worcestershire Record Office is seeking a highly-motivated individual to
carry out an Information Audit within the County Council as part of the
preparations for e-government and Freedom of Information. The successful
candidate will be based in the Modern Records Unit and will work closely
with the Unit's managers to ensure a comprehensive database of information
resources is compiled and analysed for the various Directorates of the
County Council.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and experience in the
Records or Information Management fields will be an advantage, as would
knowledge of Local Government functions. General computer literacy is
essential, especially of Word applications, and an Access database will be
used.
Equally essential, however, will be good presentation skills, the ability to
work both on ones own and as part of a team to a planned deadline,
communication and interpersonal skills and practical common sense.
