Carmen,
Receiving this kind of request is extremely frustrating. I assume you are
working on a term paper and are unfamiliar with research.
I just did a quick Boolean search on [("brazilian firms" AND (surveys OR
data)) AND reforms] on a metasearch engine. [Variations to suit your needs
are obviously possible.] I came up with ten pages of listings of surveys
and such. Many of these led to other useful links. [Searching within
UNCTAD, the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, etc., will (for
better or worse) reveal many data sets on the topics you mentioned.]
The problem isn't in finding surveys; it is being focused enough to know
what information you are looking for among the plethora of surveys out
there.
Please show this to your instructor and ask if s/he doesn't have suggestions
as to how one might sharpen their research (including internet search)
skills so that finding the data for one's working (set of) hypothesis (-es)
will be easier.
Best of luck,
Jim

Subject: data
Dear All
We are looking for firm level micro-data for any developing country.
However, given our interest in the effects of foreign direct investment, we
would prefer a middle income country that has embarked on trade and
financial reforms (e.g. Mexico, Brazil, etc.) We would be grateful if you
could send us any information about where or how we can get the data.
