I know that the UKCMF was created specifically for learning objects, however
in order to use the same metadata for learning related material we are
adopting it for the JISC/LTSN funded learning and teaching portal. I would
therefre be happier if we didnt include LOM in the name, and I do dislike
nested acronyms (using L to represent Learning Objekt Metadata) how about
Framework for Education Metadata 2 (Femto)
otherwise I would go for UKCMF-E (which suggests that is is one of an
eventual family of frameworks).
regards.
