The last in the TLTP3 EFFECTS/Embedding Learning Technologies seminar
series will take place on 23 May, 2003 at University College London, on the
theme of 'Evaluating and Disseminating Learning Technology Projects'.
The speakers are Prof. Grainne Conole from the Research and Graduate School
of Education at Southampton and Dr. Martin Oliver, Department of Education
and Professional Development, UCL, who say:
"The aim of this seminar is to outline how evaluation and dissemination can
be used to support the embedding of learning technologies. The seminar will
open with an introduction to evaluation, including the various stages of
planning, executing and dissemination. Participants will be expected to
contribute to whole-group and small-group discussions of their experiences
with evaluating and disseminating embedding, and given the chance to
reflect on how these activities relate to their personal ambitions. The
seminar will highlight the diverse ways in which these processes can
contribute to change at strategic, political and personal levels."
There is no charge for attendance, but advance booking is essential. Please
