We have been working with focus groups to identify what might be regarded as
the key factors defining future e-learning participants. The three focus
groups were based on HR and training representatives from industry,
e-learning professionals and young people between the ages of 20 and 25.
From these groups we have established a list of future e-learning users
requirements clustered under three headings of service support needs,
e-learning experience expectations and technological expectations.
We would now like to run a Delphi study with the objective of prioritising
those outputs and would welcome volunteers for participation from this list.
The online Delphi facility itself is somewhat experimental but we would
anticipate it running over a period of three weeks from the beginning of
June and requiring active participation on three occasions over that period
for approximately 20 minutes each time.
We would be very happy to share the immediate outcomes of the study with
those participating and ultimately aim to write up the whole project as a
conference paper.
Please reply to me directly if you feel you would like to take part.
Many thanks for your time
