medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Le Puy-en-Velay and Rocamadour (Mary) and Vézelay
(Mary Magdalene)come to mind as do, I would guess,
churches in the vicinity of
Les-Saintes-Marie-de-la-mer. However these are all
obviously in southern France, except for Vézelay
(Burgundy). And yet northern Italy is due east of a
rather large portion of France.
