Dear All,
I am currently recruiting for the following group of three specialist index
developers and would very much appreciate any ideas or advice anyone is able
to offer.
DUTCH INDEX DEVELOPERS
BUSINESS INFORMATION
Central London, Salary c£23,000 with bonus of £2,000+
This is an unusual and interesting opportunity for native Dutch speakers to
join a world leading online supplier of business information.
A number of vacancies have arisen for people with an excellent library or
information background to work alongside teams who are currently developing
a series of highly searchable online products for legal, news/business and
company information. The primary function of this role will be to think
conceptually about and research around language in news, business and/or
law, using a linguistic and cultural understanding of business or law in The
Netherlands.
Candidates will need to have an understanding of classification systems,
perhaps learned through an information/library science qualification, so
that they can think clearly around subject, context, company and other
criteria. You will ideally come from a translation, abstracting or other
information management background and will have experience of using online
information systems.
Candidates with experience in translating business or news data into the
native language are also welcome to apply.
