Try going to the National Statistics web site:
http://www.statistics.gov.uk
Follow the link on the left hand side (under themes) to 'Social and
welfare', then follow the link to 'culture, leisure and social
participation', then 'leisure activities' and then you will get a page of
search results. From this page, you want to scroll down to the bottom of the
section headed 'Data results for .....' and click on the link that says
something like 'show all data results'.
You should then get a fair amount of information to choose from (though
rather sadly for UK leisure, much of the information seems to be about time
spent on the Internet!).
Hope this helps - never let it be said that the National Statistics site
isn't intuitive!!
