The British Sociological Association's Code of Ethical Practice is an
excellent document, available online at:
http://www.britsoc.org.uk/about/ethic.htm
We have recently adapted this code to produce a departmental statement of
ethical practice in research in geography and earth sciences at Aberystwyth.
