It is good not to have to remember another acronym, and reusing
existing names - UK LOM Profile is a good and straightforward name
indeed. To have a broader focus or not, this depend if the group wishes
to extend the current initiative of UKCMF, to look into additional
common metadata practices/schemes (a more specific 'reference model'
vs. SCORM?), especially those not mandated or 'plugged' into LOM such
as digital rights, taxonomy/classification. May be we already got a
handful dealing with LOM itself :-)
Bye.
