Vision 2003 – New Freedoms Conference
Harewood House 11th – 13th June 2003
InterCulture is presenting a three day International Conference at Harewood
House, dedicated to developing access to new audiences through diverse
programming. The Conference is hosted in collaboration with Harewood House,
Barbados Museum, English Heritage, Heritage Lottery Fund, Government Office
for Yorkshire and the Humber, Leeds City Council.
New Freedoms will challenge current perceptions of heritage within a global
context. It will examine the representation of sites and peoples and how
communities may participate further in the creation of their own cultural
identity.
