Saturday night was a big night - the Matrix Reloaded. Arrived far too early
and found myself in a book shop. Bad news for the wallet.
Came away with AS Business Studies Richard Thompson - just out from Collins.
I am impressed and now confused.
We get our students to buy their own text each year and around about now I
have to decide which one to use.
There is inertia - all my SoW and assignments are linked to Surridge &
Gillespie AS Biz from Hodder.
But the new Marcouse tome also comes out at the end of this month - again
from Hodder. Time for a change?
So list what are your views on the relative merits of A Level texts? Still
champions for Anderton from Causeway. Is it important to have a text written
in the last 12 months?
PS Matrix Reloaded was amazing - if you like pompous dialogue and cartoon
book action.
