Anna:
I did this for the first time this year and had no
drop in turnout for lectures. Marks for the exams
also rose perceptably over past years!
At first I was just putting the lecture notes and
handouts on my website, but then set up an internal
site via WebCT that only enrolled students could
access. It has probably forced me to take the clarity
of my lecture notes more seriously--an unintended
side effect. :-)
