Whilst not an Information Officer, I wrote this authority's Information Security Policy and following RIPA, HRA and FOI - and a major reorganisation, am now in the process of a rewrite.
This rewrite will incorporate anything relevant from eGIF, ISO15489, and CESG's Infosec Standards.
As far as I can see, our information handling procedures, particularly those relating to PRIVATE data, need extensive change.
