Hello Rick
Obviously burning the American flag is symbolic. Before meeting a group of
Iraquis today, I would have answered your question in order.
After hearing of murder, rape, torture and God alone knows what else under
Saddam Husseins regime, I would gladly NOW sanction the attack in Saddams
regime by the greatest military might myself.
If it were only true that the real purpose of the was was liberation of
people from a regime of evil, then I would feel more comfortable.
Unfortunately we know that the agenda is much more mixed. That said,
however, if Saddam is removed dead or alive together with his sons, then I
believe that many people will live and sleep in some state of peace of mind,
without fear. Let us hope that this war is the beginning of better things
and that lives are not lost for nothing.
Kindest
Gerald
