Subject: OTseeker new database
Dear all,
I thought some people on this list may be interested in a new, free resource
for occupational therapists.
A new web-based evidence resource called 'OTseeker' (Occupational Therapy
Systematic Evaluation of Evidence) is now available. The database currently
comprises abstracts and quality ratings of randomised control trials (RCTs),
and abstracts of systematic reviews relevant to occupational therapy.
OTseeker will make the task of finding and interpreting evidence easier,
thereby helping to increase the uptake of evidence by occupational
therapists. It has been modelled on a physiotherapy equivalent, PEDro
(Physiotherapy Evidence Database) http://www.pedro.fhs.usyd.edu.au/
OTseeker is freely available to occupational therapists, other professionals
and consumers anywhere in the world at www.otseeker.com.
Please pass this on as if of interest.
Regards
Sally Bennett
