Dear DCMI practitioners
Who has used the term 'Image' as a DC.Type?
Answers to this question could help us determine the environmental impact of offering alternatives to this term. Has 'Image' been widely used to describe resource types or is it rarely used? Is there a better way we can find out?
Please let us know of the experiences that you've had in your domain. Revealing that you've never used the term is as useful as saying that you have. No one will know - anonymity is assured.
You can reply direct to me or the DC.Type Working Group list, see: http://dublincore.org/groups/type/ where you'll find more details of the proposals for moving image and still image DCMI Types - if you're interested.
Reply now, this is a collaborative effort - we need your help.
Regards
Simon
