Spare a thought for us in Ireland where Public Health Doctors have gone on
strike !
I see one of the greatest threats in the transmission to Ireland being the
Chinese immigrants who come to Ireland under the auspices of learning
English and then help with a deficient blue collar work force (coutesy of
our ailing celtic tiger) where they find gainful employment as hospital
cleaners, kitchen porters and petrol pump assistants. I think we have about
30,000 in the Dublin area and the addition to the pool increases daily.
This is a population which are currently difficult to trace and many have no
fixed abode arriviing to meet up with 'contact' or friends. Interestingly
they nearly all enter via the UK !
Should the increasing number of chinese attending our emergency departments
be considered as a red flag ?!

pessimistic and see it reaching the same levels as the medieval Black Death.
All the portents are there.
