Anyone out there who can help?
I have been volunteered to give a talk on 'dual diagnosis' relating to
learning disabilities and mental illness and would like to present a social
model perspective. I wonder if anyone has any thoughts or references on
the use of 'dual diagnosis' as a way of describing people who get fitted
into more than one category e.g mental health problems and drug/alcohol
abuse or more general ideas about the experiences people with learning
disabilities have of mental health problems and mental health services.
Thanks!
Deborah Chinn
