Other 'C' is for 'complex'- includes the meniscus and various other bits of
gristle- describes the clinical functional unit rather than the anatomical
structure (some people use TFC with the second 'C' for 'complex' but no 'C'
for cartilage as its part of 'fibrocartilage' but for some reason orthopods
seem to like 4 letter abbreviations better than 3). Apologies for the
unclear abbreviation.
