This mail is to let you know about two forthcoming opportunities to publish
in bioscience education journals and to publicise the avialbility of small
grants to support projects with a bioscience theme.
1) PEER REVIEWED BIOSCIENCE EDUCATION E-JOURNAL (BEE-J) - SUBMISSION DEADLINE
28TH MARCH 2003
Bioscience Education Electronic journal (BEE-j) is an on-line, bi-annual
electronic journal owned and published by the LTSN Bioscience. The journal
will publish a range of original articles on tertiary level biosciences
education, including peer-reviewed research and practice papers, descriptive
articles and reviews. Papers submitted by Friday 28th March 2003 will be
considered for inclusion in the first issue of BEE-j. See the BEE-j website

2) CALL FOR PAPERS FOR THE JUNE 2003 ISSUE OF CAL-laborate
CAL-laborate is a non-refereed journal that disseminates, in an
international context, experiences and opinions about the use of
Information Technology in university science teaching. Its primary aim is
to foster linkages between academics all over the world, by the sharing of
ideas, thoughts and experiences. There are two publications each year: one
for the life sciences in the first half of the year and one for the physical
sciences and
geosciences in the second half. The on-line version is available for
viewing or printing from the UniServe Science web site at:
http://science.uniserve.edu.au/pubs/callab/
Please contact Anne Fernandez ([log in to unmask]) if you are
interested in writing an article. Articles for the June 2003 Life Science
issue should be submitted by May 5, 2003.
