Ian...thanks!
That worked a treat!!!!!!!
The /etc/hosts.allow files on CE and SE looked like this:
[root@hepbf4 /etc]# cat /etc/hosts.allow.orig
ftp : 127.0.0.1, 138.37.51, 138.37.50
sshd : ALL
mountd : 127.0.0.1, 138.37.51, 138.37.50
portmap : 127.0.0.1, 138.37.51, 138.37.50
I changed them by "ADDING A DOT" to each IP address in the mountd and
portmap lines
[root@hepbf4 /etc]# cat /etc/hosts.allow
ftp : 127.0.0.1, 138.37.51, 138.37.50
sshd : ALL
mountd : 127.0.0.1, 138.37.51., 138.37.50.
portmap : 127.0.0.1, 138.37.51., 138.37.50.
So I guess this was due to the site-cfg.h file which defined the allowed
networks as:
#define SITE_ALLOWED_NETWORKS 127.0.0.1, 138.37.51, 138.37.50
I've now changed it appropriately.
There is no need to have an explicit entry in /etc/fstab as
"/etc/var/nfsmount run" knows which filesystems you want to mount.
Dave.
