The School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research is one
of the largest departments of its type in the UK and one of only
two in the country in Social Policy to receive the highest possible
rating of 5*.
Both positions are open to applicants with specialisms in any area
of their subject, though the School has teaching needs in
sociological theory and research methods (Sociology post) and
health and social care, comparative social policy, poverty and
social security, and research methods (Social Policy post).
You should have completed a PhD, and be able to demonstrate
strong potential in research and publications. You will be expected
to develop a specialist module and to contribute teaching in other
areas as appropriate.
